No more SARS - SUG PRESIDENT SAYS

The SUG president of University of Nigeria, have in response to the clamour of fellow students issued a statement on the resent happenings in the school environment. Following the incident that occoured few weeks back, Special Anti-robbery Squad have made the school environment a business place for themselves.

OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT, STUDENTS ' UNION GOVERNMENT, UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA, NSUKKA

Beloved Lions, Lionesses and believers in the Lion dream, I wish to inform you that it has come to our notice that the activities of
SARS operatives have become embarrassing and a flagrant abuse to our constitutional rights and privileges as students of this great institution. These operatives pick up students at random and demand very outrageous amounts as bail charges. We will not allow this continue!!! 

The Students' Union Government is swinging into action with immediate effect and we give our assurances that we will do our best to prevent the continuance of this menace. 
Be rest assured that this SUG administration is committed to ensuring the overall welfare and safety of the Students and we will not fold our hands and watch the rights of the students abused.
