In a bid to enhance Credibility, Transparency and also bridge the communication gap between Students and the Senate , the Senate House approved the Consolidation of the Senate Radio program as presented by the Senate Committee on Information, Media and Publicity. This resolution is targeted at enhancing the relationship between the Senate and Students by ensuring that all the complaints, suggestions, and observations of the students of the University of Nigeria gets to the Senate as soon as possible with a minimal level of stress on the students, thus ensuring that the care and Welfare of the students is not compromised. Details about the time and date for the commencement of the Radio program would be communicated to the general public as soon as possible.
The House also considered other ways of enhancing the relationship between the Senate and students and thus approved for the use of Sound systems, Speakers and other musical instruments as a medium of interacting with UNEC students since the campus lacks a local Radio station.

In enormous passion, a motion for the senate to raise a delegation of some senators and the Director of Transport, UNEC to the Associate Dean Student Affairs and Deputy Chief Security officer to negotiate and ensure that UNEC shuttles stop students at UNEC gate to disembark, before going back inside the School shuttle park to load their vehicles. The motion was moved by Dist. Sen. Onah, Tochukwu  and was seconded by Dist. Sen. Ubechu Samuel. The House swiftly deliberated on the issue, accepted and approved the motion.
With no sense of fatigue, the Senate House intended to proceed with other businesses of the day especially the two Bills concerning Hostel utilisation and Optional retainment as proposed by Dist.
